A striking example of mid-century French modernism.  Attributed to the style of the legendary designer Jacques Adnet, the lamp features a substantial, spherical base crafted from opaline glass. The glass globe is anchored smoothly onto a contrasting, minimalist black tiered circular base. It is crowned by a wide, dramatic linen shade that casts a soft, warm downward glow, highlighting the rich luster of the glass below.
With its clean lines and clever interplay of strict geometry, this sculptural piece serves as both a functional lamp and a sophisticated art object.
The glass is in very good condition without any cracks or scratches.  It has been newly rewired and PAT tested.
