Vintage Elm Burl Coffee Table In the Manner of Willy Rizzo
A striking 1970s Italian low-profile coffee table crafted in the distinctive manner of Willy Rizzo.
The piece features a rich, highly figured elm burl veneer paired with a sleek built-in stainless steel ice bucket/basin—a hallmark feature of Rizzo’s iconic entertaining-focused designs.
Flush-mounted into the tabletop, the stainless steel insert offers timeless utility as a champagne cooler, or catch-all tray, providing a sharp industrial contrast to the warm, swirling wood grain.
The table showcases dramatic natural burl patterns in rich honey and amber tones, highlighted by a subtle low-luster finish.
Generally the table is in good condition for its age. There is however some age related wear which has been documented in the images provided.
