Stunning mould-blown clear glass vase. Designed in 1968 by Frank Thrower for the legendary Dartington Glass company, this piece is formally known as the “Nipple” vase (Pattern FT95).
Crafted with a sleek, structural hexagonal silhouette, the vase features distinct rows of raised, circular "nipple" or bubble bosses on each panel. The heavy, textured glass beautifully captures and refracts light, giving it a luminous, sculptural presence even when left empty.
A quintessential example of late 1960s / early 1970s British art glass.
