A timeless oriental four-panel folding room divider screen. Crafted from deep brown hardwood, each panel features intricate bone or mother-of-pearl inlay depicting delicate floral compositions—representing botanical motifs such as lotus, chrysanthemum, peony, and cherry/plum blossom.

The four panel folding design is connected with durable brass metal hinges, allowing for flexible positioning as a room divider, decorative backdrop, or dramatic wall feature.  Each individual panel features delicate, raised inlay depicting graceful floral branches, offering a luminous contrast against the dark hardwood background.  There reverse side showcases an equally beautiful floral pattern.

The bottom panels feature carved relief aprons that add structural grounding and traditional decorative detail.

Ideal for defining living zones in open-concept spaces or using as a decorative corner accent.

In good vintage condition. The inlay remains largely intact with beautiful iridescence, and the wood finish displays age-appropriate surface patina consistent with careful display and use.
