Mid-Century French Modernist Stainless Steel "Cube" Coffee / Side Tables Attributed to Maria Pergay
An exceptional, highly versatile set of four modular stainless steel cube tables attributed to French designer Maria Pergay. Exhibiting clean geometric lines and a brutalist architectural edge, these cubes interact beautifully with surrounding light and textures. They can be configured tightly together as a dramatic multi-part modular coffee table, split up into independent side tables, or used as minimal structural display plinths.
Crafted from durable, industrial-grade stainless steel, each cube showcases a gorgeous, naturally patinated brushed finish with subtle organic variations in the metal grain. The edges are cleanly finished to hold their precise geometric form. The bottom edge has been lined with foam to protect the cubes from scraping on the ground.
In her original 1968 collection produced by Design Steel, Maria Pergay's standard cubes measured slightly smaller at 30cm or 33cm. A 40cm dimension indicates a set of custom vintage variants, a pair of which were recently sold on Phillips auction in this size.
Overall the cubes are in good condition but there are some signs of wear in the form of light scratches and minor dents of an edge.

The delivery fee's are set up based on the size of the item, for smaller items delivery is £30 (paintings and decorative accessories), for medium sized items (chairs or coffee tables) delivery will be £60 and for larger items (dining tables and sofas) delivery is £80.
