An original abstract painting by celebrated French artist Georges Ferrato.  Born in Aix-en-Provence in 1949, Ferrato is widely recognised for his captivating visual language that balances primal, rhythmic geometry with deep architectural textures.

This commanding work features the artist's signature continuous, calligraphic linework. Dominated by an expansive stucco, matte chocolate-espresso background. Subtle, textural accents of pale cream, soft lavender-pink, and deep charcoal add unexpected light and spatial depth to the forms. Set against a beautifully layered, stucco-like brown substrate. Signed by Ferrato on the bottom centre.

Georges Ferrato’s works are held in prominent public museum collections across France, including the Musée d'Art Moderne de Dunkerque, the Musée Picasso d'Antibes, and the Musée de Grenoble.

Elegantly housed in a premium, light-toned timber floating tray frame and arrives ready to hang.

Signed on the back and dated November 1989
