Pair of Art Deco / Italian Modernist Rosewood Bedside Cabinets, c. 1930s–1940s (In the style of Osvaldo Borsani / Paolo Buffa)
A fantastic pair of Italian Art Deco bedside tables. Featuring a bold stepped/pagoda-style top cabinet resting on a flared, pedestal-style base, supported by unique stylized feet.
The beautifully book-matched flame wood veneer showcases dramatic grain patterns and warm mahogany/rosewood tones. The pair are fitted with delicate original brass teardrop/pendant hardware and brass hinges that contrast beautifully.
The single-door cabinet compartments provide clean, hidden storage for books, personal items, or bedside essentials.
Perfect as flanking nightstands in a luxury master bedroom or as sophisticated end/side tables in a lounge area.
In very good vintage condition with rich patina throughout. Minor cosmetic surface wear consistent with age and careful use.
Italian circa 1930
