Large framed abstract artwork with thick oil paint by French artist Patrick Boudon dated 1965 (1944 - 1988)
Fabulous cubist oil on canvas by listed French artist Patrick Boudon (1944-1988). Boudon studied at Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He first exhibited at the Raymond Duncan Gallery in Paris in the early 1960s and actively exhibited internationally until his premature death in 1988. Boudon's work bears a strong resemblance to "Art Brut" painting championed by Jean Dubuffet and Breton in the 1950s.
The painting is signed and dated 1965. It comes in a box frame and is ready to hang.
