Featuring a calming Mediterranean colour palette of side browns and pale blues. The oil appears to be layered on with a palette knife which brings an architectural element to the composition.
Sven-Erik Markhed was born in 1925. He studied at Essemskolan in Malmö from 1947-1950, as well as at the Grand Chaumière and Colarossi in Paris. He held exhibitions across Sweden.
